Client (1) American Based Organisation

Wanted to move an entire vSphere datacentre from eastern Europe to mainland UK, their systems integrator estimated that a minimum of 10 months would be required to successfully execute the task.

Droplet completed the full migration in less than 1 month, utilising our cloning tools, which are capable of cloning an entire server or datacentre without changing any one’s or zero’s, maintaining all the original configurations, including any software, files, and network settings.

The data was then converted into our Droplet format inside our portable NeverTrust™ container and smoothly migrated to a supported platform, in this case a London-based Azure cloud.

Client (2) Global Energy Provider

The customer faced issues with the expenses linked to conventional virtual desktops (VDI) and app security because they were using outdated software that didn’t work with the newest Citrix version.

Droplet has successfully migrated their worldwide VDI user base, protecting all their applications within our NeverTrust™ container by securing it with our integrated firewall and encrypting all communication between end point devices and the Droplet server that delivers the applications.

ROI Summary = We migrated this customers x150 Citrix Servers reducing them to x30 Droplet Server Appliances, achieving an impressive 80% reduction in overall server count. Which had a substantial impact on their carbon footprint, considerable cost savings in terms of licensing and managing costs.
